Library Hours Fall 2020 Hours Monday - Tuesday: 7:30-8 Wednesday - Friday: 7:30-5 Every other Saturday beginning August 29th (The Learning Center will be open on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and alternating Saturdays.) Library Operations during the Coronavirus The library is taking a few precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect our students' health. Masks must be worn everywhere on campus, including in the library. If you do not have a mask, the library will provide you with a disposable mask. Hand sanitizer is available at multiple locations throughout the library. Students are encouraged to use them upon entry and exit, as well as periodically during your time in the library. Upon being returned to the library all books and materials are placed into a quarantine bin for three days (the time that the COVID-19 virus can survive on hard surfaces) before being re-shelved into the collection. Some computers on the first floor have been disabled to promote social distancing. Please do not gather in a group around a single computer. The second floor of the library is closed to student traffic. Students needing to check out a book should let the first-floor library staff know, and we will retrieve the title for you. Students who are unsure about exactly which title they need will be directed to a reference librarian who will assist them in their selection. Reference staff are still available to help students during operating hours. Students in the building can ask first-floor staff to direct them to a reference librarian who will meet with them one on one.
